OUR WORK

Since 2017, we have donated 34 ultrasound machines to underserved communities. Each machine provides 10-20 ultrasounds a day, providing potentially life-saving scans.

Radiology Services in Action

Before HRD Corps enters a community, the citizens are lacking the basic technology to create a vibrant and healthy community. After we bring life-changing radiology technology and train their teams on it, they are able to ensure a brighter future for generations to come.

Stories From The Field

From Community to a Professional Organization

HRD Corps held multi-day seminars at Port au Prince that included lectures and hands-on instruction. Each symposium brought together 30 people, hailing from Haitian towns both near and far.

After the symposium completion, attendees began to communicate with one another via WhatsApp, which quickly turned into an empowering community. The group worked together to help Haitian technicians find jobs, address clinical imaging difficulties, and increase imaging quality.

Soon the group developed into a social media support environment, and in 2019, it snowballed into an official organization, the "Association des Technologie en Imagerie Medicale d'Haiti" (Association Technologist Imaging Medical of Haiti).

The ATIMH is Haiti's first officially recognized society for radiology technologists.

Our Impact

Nearly $1.6M in Medical Equipment Donated to Underserved Communities.

In many countries around the world, communities are missing critical equipment to perform necessary procedures. For those who do have equipment, it is often broken and unable to be used. We provide a solution to both problems.
